The Formentor beach is also known as Cala Pi de sa Posada, it is sandy and about one kilometer long. This is definitely a beach for spotting the famous as the hotel Formentor is possibly the most well known on the island. The beach itself consists of traditional bars, showers and sun beds, and a great surfing school can also be found here.

Until relatively recently there was neither a beach or any sand in Pollenca.
In Pollença there is know a beach of about one kilometer in length and 30 meters in width. The beach has umbrellas, fist aid, sun beds, and water sports. There are a few bars and restaurants, but mainly it is a quiet beach all year round.

Situated at the very Northernmost tip of the island. The beach is just over three kilometers long. On it's shores you will find all the major water sports such as Dinghy-Yacht sailing, water skiing, "Hobie sailing", jet skiing and "parasailing". Along the length of the beach you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

This virginal stretch of white sand, draws a primarily young crowd during the summer months. It is bordered by a large pine forest that extends down to the sand, giving the beach a wild and untamed feel.
This beach boasts the full range of water sports and attractions. It has only one restaurant which offers it's customers free access to a beach volleyball court, and a small gym.

The beach at Cala Millor is almost 2 kilometers long, and is very popular tourist destination. With lots of hotels, bars restaurants and shops just behind the beach, there is always plenty to do.
On the beach itself umbrellas, sun beds, a variety of water sports, bars, restaurants and clubs. It also features many events aimed at tourist during the summer.

The beach measures 760 meters long and 76 meters wide, and has a wide range of bars and restaurants lining the seafront. Sa Coma, which in recent years has been awarded the bandera azul ("blue flag"), a symbol of quality, is very clean, and well suited as a family beach.

Situated between Cala Millor and Porto Cristo at the mouth of the river n´Amer. In recent years it has become one of the most popular beaches on the East coast. It is surrounded by plenty of hotels and has it's share of festivals around the 15th of August. There are many bars and restaurants along the seafront. It also offers sun beds, umbrellas and water sports.

The tourist development of Cales de Mallorca lies near the beach "Es Domingos" which is one of the largest on the Mallorcan coastline.
Although the coves are not best for anchoring due to their sise. Also for the divers, the underwater caves are a world wide attraction.

Cala D'Or also known as "Ses Puntetes" consists of many small coves..... Cala Llonga, Caló de ses Pones, Caló d'es Corrals and Caló Gran. The main pleasure port is Cala Llonga. The Club Nautico at Cala D'or is one of the best equipped clubs in the Balearics, and has become a showcase for luxury yachts (you can find the club at 39º 22' N / 03º 14' E).

Situated between Campos and Colónia de St Jordi. It is one of the best preserved stretches of coastline with very little development. The beach is 3.5 kilometers long, and it consists of soft white sand, shallow Aqua blue, crystal clear, clean water. It features a secure paid car park and is extremely popular during the summer months. The beach itself has a few restaurants, bars and sun beds. It also is well visited by yachts and pleasure craft.

S´Arenal is situated in the bay of Palma, and is one of the most visited parts of the Balearic Islands. It is in this bay that the largest concentration of hotels exists. During the summer the beaches are bustling with both tourists and local residents. It offers a full range of bars, restaurants, disco techs and plenty of shopping.

Situated near to the West of Palma, and just a quick ride on the bus. The beach is both popular with locals and tourists. It has a restaurant-bar at the back of the beach which is always very busy during the summer months. The beach is also the base for scenic boat trips around the bay of Palma.

Mostly used by the yachtsmen and their guests from Puerto Portals yacht club. It is nice and peaceful beach with clear waters, and lots of protection from swell. It is certainly one of the better places to go if you just want a small quiet beach. It is just a short walk from the yacht club where one can find plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping.

The beach is approximately 900 metres long, and it is one of the biggest British tourists beaches on the Island. It is mainly dominated by young holidays makers, as the town is well known for it's night life. The beach offers water-skiing, pedalos, sailing, boat trips and parasailing. The are also plenty of bars, restaurants and discos, on the beach and on the sea front.

This is a small beach, with vegetation that extends down to the shore. The beach lies within the Natural Area of Special Interest (ANEI) of cap de Cala Figuera, the nesting spot of a large number of sea birds.
The beach features two bar/restaurants which have their own hatchery, and specialize in fresh seafood, rice dishes and fish stews.

Santa Ponça is known as the most historic beach in the Calvià area, and is ever growing in popularity. There are many summer houses and hotels but it is still reasonably unspoiled . There are plenty of beach facilities, sunbeds, unbrellas, water sports and pleasure craft. There is a well developed town with shops, restaurants and bars for all tastes.

Roman or Platja del Norts.
Paguera consist of a main beach. The smallest of three is Paguera Roman It is rich with bars, restaurants and small shops and the beach has all the facilities such as sun beds, umbrellas, pedalos and small rocky splash pools for children.

This coastline is full of coves with shingle beaches that can sometimes be difficult to reach, but its definitely worth trying. As this part of the coastline is in every way a picture postcard coastline.

Cala Deià is a mixture of sand, rock and shingle. It is also another part of the island where you may spot some of the many famous people who are attracted to the island, and the many who live in this quaint part of Mallorca.
The water is crystal clear.

There is a major stream which separates the commercial area of the port from the beach known as Platja d'en Repic. This beach is long (1'100 metres) and very narrow (13 marts), and is mainly a very light shingle beach. The usual attractions are available, such as sun beds, pedalos and first aid, but you also can take boat trips from this beach.

The road down to the beach is situated between Fornalutx and Pollença. It is recommended to get a decent map to find this one. Right at the mouth of the rivers Lluch and Gorg Blau, this beach is one of the most spectacular beaches on the Island. With clear waters and breathtaking scenery, the beach offers the setting of a perfect day. The walk up the rivers is one not to be missed although it is not possible during the winter after rains. The beach has also laid its claim to fame for the set of a few movies and commercials. A definite must.
